Stainless steel grade 316 and 316L are typically used to manufacture the valves. 316 is a popular stainless steel alloy, while 316L is the low carbon version of the 316. There are no significant differences between SS316 and SS316L. However, due to its low carbon content, SS316L is even more corrosion resistant than SS316.
